Senior Counselor

Sheilagh Mylott, Senior Counselor, has expertise in high-profile crisis and issues management, media relations and senior-level strategic counseling. She also has broad public affairs, grassroots advocacy, and coalition-building skills that create impact for her clients.

Ms. Mylott's experience in the health care field includes corporate communications and issues management, strategy development and implementation for federal and state regulatory issues, policy research and strategy development and consumer directed education programs.

She has advised Pfizer, Janssen Pharmaceutica, Wyeth Ayerst, Bayer, and other pharmaceutical companies on a variety of product, regulatory and policy issues. For Pfizer, her work also included identifying and securing third-party support for Viagra prior to its launch, the development and launch of a major drug donation program in Africa, and the development of a targeted philanthropy program. She managed a joint Centers for Disease Control and Columbia University youth smoking counter-marketing campaign and helped develop a major women's health initiative for Columbia University and Procter & Gamble.

Previously, Ms. Mylott was a Vice President at Robinson Lerer & Montgomery in New York, where she counseled Fortune 500 clients on a variety of communications issues, including positioning and media relations.

Ms. Mylott has a B.A. in psychology from the State University of New York, Cortland College. She received her M.P.A., with a specialization in comparative international health systems, from the Wagner School at New York University.
