Best known for his 22 years at ABC, including 16 as the network’s chief medical correspondent, Strait has covered major health care issues ranging from HIV/AIDS to the health care reform debate to the ethical issues surrounding new therapies and discoveries.

Strait has also served in a variety of high-profile roles in the health care and public affairs arena, including Chairman of the Board of the Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation and Associate Vice Chancellor of Public Affairs at the University of California, Berkeley.
